牛棚書展

尋找牛棚書展主題，尋找香港性

今年七月香港書展舉行期間，網上的閱讀論壇出現了以下的問題：去年不是有一個牛棚書展嗎？今年去了哪裡？有人問我，牛棚書展會否只有三分鐘熱度？本地是否有真正的另類閱讀空間？我想，牛棚書展2004的啟動，大抵是最好的回答。

全世界有很多書展，有些是主題本位的，有些是市場本位的，而牛棚書展則是地點本位的。牛棚書展是在牛棚藝術村舉行的書展，而這個藝術村，前身是土瓜灣牛隻檢疫站，現在改為藝術家的工作室、畫廊和藝團辦公室，收留前北角油街因地產發展而被逼遷的租戶。這固然已帶上了很多政府和文化社群的既有關係寫照，建築物舊樸的外形，古蹟的身份，更令這地點充滿特色。

Fiest@trium - HKUST Alumni Assocation Annual Dinner

"Fiest@trium" is a celebration dinner which is co-organized by the Office of University Development and Public Affairs of UST and HKUST Alumni Association. The celebration will be a 30-table Chinese "Pun Choi" Banquet (盤菜) at UST’s Atrium on 13 November, the day after 3-day Congregation closes. It will be the first time ever to have a banquet at the Atrium! To celebrate this historical moment, there will be performance by local singer to highlight the occasion! Come join the novel celebration and to relive the old joys you had at UST!
